- Barrels can be used to store up to 64 stacks of the same item in one block.
- They can be rotated to face any direction and around the axis of their front face.
- They can be inserted to from the top and extracted from from the bottom, relative to the orientation and location of the front face.
- They have upgrades available: a Sticky upgrade will make the Barrel keep at least one of a given item to prevent other items from entering it, whereas a Hopping upgrade makes the Barrel act like a Hopper.
